It was my first time visiting this Hatton Court Wedding Venue in Gloucestershire, and what a day they chose!
Jack and Maisie (from lovemaisie.com) got in contact last year about doing their wedding and despite booking a March wedding where the weather can be very temperamental they had the best weather, starting very foggy but swiftly turning into a beautiful hot day for them and their family and friends. I arrived early on the day, beating the traffic through Bristol as you can never tell what the motorways are like, and I quickly settled in with Maisie and her guests capture everything is it unfolded. She had her friend Sam doing her makeup, who is just starting out but did very well as you will see below, and then Maisie did her own hair right before putting the dress on ready to tie the knot. And her beautiful boy Tyler spent most of the morning sleeping, which was a good thing considering how tiring weddings can be for me, let alone children! haha
The day ran smoothly, with everyone enjoying themselves all day long, relaxing in the sun and having a beer or two. Its great to capture a wedding with a small amount of guests as I really get to focus on watching those moments unfold all day and getting those real ‘belly laughs’ without them knowing. You’ll see what I mean.
