Stone Barn Wedding Photography – Emily & George

The Stone Barn wedding venue is one of those places that you know you’re going to have a good day; as a supplier or a guest in fact. The staff are considerate, the venue and surroundings are beautiful and the food is sensational and I’m sure every other Cotswold wedding photographer would agree. The fireplace is also a winner particularly on days like this one where it was really quite bitter outside but Emily and George didn’t let that stop them from making the most of the dry weather they had with absolutely stunning golden hour shots.

I first met Emily and George at a beautiful wedding down at Tunnels Beaches for Emilys brother and my good friend Jess which was equally as amazing, and we instantly connected back then so when I received their enquiry I was already excited about their day. After the long 2+ hour drive up, I met up with George first to meet him and his best man for a few snaps of them getting changed, drinking shots and getting ready for the day, and then another short drive to meet Emily and all her bridesmaids.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was instantly welcomed by everyone, which made the start of the day that much easier after a night of children not sleeping very well haha. Drinks were flowing, hair and makeup being applied and dresses hung up ready for the paparazzi. I had the chance to work with Francis who filmed their wedding and he was brilliant to work with all day.

The wedding day itself run extremely smoothly despite the lack of daylight although you wouldn’t realise in the snaps below. The ceremony was a real teary one too in front of the fire, keeping my left eye on all the parents and bridesmaids as they shed a few and watching them tie the knot. Emily wore a beautiful Justin Alexander which was unlike any I’ve ever seen if I’m honest. The details were beautiful and perfectly matched the venue and style of the wedding along with the bouquets made for them.

After the wedding breakfast and speeches, Emily and George had invited Agent Funk to kick off the evening celebrations with their first dance and after. The dance floor was busy right up until the time I left so I’m sure it stayed busy all night. I can’t wait to get back to the Stone Barn in the future and enjoy the Cotswold sunsets with my couples! Congratulations again Emily and George, and Pip of course and I’m sure I will see you again soon at another wedding.

“We first met Ryan at my brothers wedding at Tunnels Beaches in Devon. We saw the incredible pictures he created then and knew we wouldn’t want anyone else for our Stone Barn wedding! My partner and I aren’t normally ones for photos so we were really nervous in the build up. Ryan put us at ease by calling us during the wedding prep and on the day we all chatted like we’d known each other forever. It was really nice to have him capture our special day.

He has created the most beautiful photos that we will treasure forever. Would 10/10 recommend Ryan to everyone. He is super talented and a lovely person to have around if you’re feeling nervous! Thank you Ryan!”

Don’t forget to share the love and say hello to their suppliers too, especially if you’re planning a Stone Barn wedding yourself as I cant recommend these guys enough!
