So far this year, the weather has favoured all of my clients and Sarah and Alex’s Kilver Court wedding was no different. With abit of rain in the morning, the sun came out shining for the remainder of the day so we really can’t complain considering the week before was a complete washout. It was a good thing too considering how beautiful the grounds of Kilver Court are and everyone had the opportunity to walk the grounds and take in the beauty of the lake and the aqua-duct in the background.
The plans for the wedding started back in early 2017 at a little coffee shop in Frome where I laid out my albums, got the iPad ready, grabbed a drink and then waited for Alex and Sarah to arrive. Anyway, long story short, they loved the photos and booked ahead and now fast forward 12ish months I am sat here with a coffee writing about their day, choosing which photos to share with you all to showcase how awesome it was!
Sarah and Alex decided to have their entire day at Kilver Court, from the getting ready stage all the way through to the DJ as they loved it so much. They had chosen a simplistic style throughout using the beauty of the venue to add to their styling. It was a chilled atmosphere all day long with good food, lots of laughs and an amazing surprise for Alex in between the wedding breakfast and reception with a performance from The Frukes, a local Ukulele Band which was hilariously amazing! Definately something I’ve never seen before but would definitely suggest it for future brides and grooms as a great start to the evening. Sarah wore a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown down the aisle, with a stunning bouquet from her bridesmaid Charlotte which worked perfectly with her bridesmaids blue dresses. I want to congratulate the newlyweds once more for booking me and putting their trust in me to capture the best day of their lifes. It is always a treat to capture weddings and Sarah and Alex’s was no different to the rest.
