Priston Mill wedding venue is as local as it gets for myself being a Bath and Somerset Wedding Photographer, and what makes it better is I married my best friend there back in 2016 so it is always a pleasure to revisit and work with the staff there time after time and reminisce about my own day. This was my only wedding at the the barn this year though sadly, so I knew I had to make the most of it and pull it out the bag, and hopefully I done just that for Lori-Ann and Tom and based on their review above I’m pretty happy with this set of photos.
After meeting with Lori-Ann and Tom the week before the wedding I knew it was going to be an amazing day, and finding out they are huge fans of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and so on, I knew there would be chemistry between us all and it shows in their photos. No forced smiles or uncomfortable moments; just happy faces all day long which is exactly how a wedding should be. Although there were a few unhappy faces when the heavens opened for a little bit when we were doing the big group photo in the grounds of Priston.
The bridal party spent their morning getting ready at Lori-Anns parents house in Oakhill, in the conservatory where the rain was starting to fall pretty heavily. As with all weddings, the weather becomes a pretty hot topic and it was no different for this wedding, but by the time the bride had to leave the house, the rain had stopped and there was a little bit of sunshine right before Lori-Ann walked the aisle to see Tom waiting anxiously.
One of many favourite parts of the day was Toms reaction to the surprise singing waiters Lori-Ann had planned without any of the guests knowing. See if you could find the picture below of this moment. The guys from 1st Call Waiters absolutely smashed it.
