This gorgeous engagement photoshoot at Ashton Court in Bristol shows it really doesn’t matter what time of year you plan in for photos as the sun came out shining for some beautiful winter sun. Lets be honest, you wouldn’t have guessed these photos were taken this past weekend, right between Christmas and New Year, because I certainly don’t and I created them.
Kirstine found me through Rock My Wedding, similarly to my last engagement shoot back in October, and got in contact to book in a day straight away. Kirstine and John are originally from Malaysia, and have been in a long distance relationship for the past 3 years. Kirstine works in the UK and John works back in Malaysia so you could say they really are meant to be together after meeting online. Kirstine is moving back home later next year and wanted to have some memories of Bristol and chose an engagement shoot for that.
I think the phrase ‘distance makes the heart grow fonder’ really worked out for these two and after meeting them and getting to know them it truly shows. Congratulations to them both and I wish them the best wedding in 2021!

“We had the delight of having our engagement shoot done by Ryan this winter. John and I are generally shy about PDA let alone having our photos taken but Ryan instantly made us feel so comfortable and at ease. What was 2 hours felt like minutes and he had our photos ready in 24 hours!!! Such beautiful shots edited perfectly. Ryan has an eye for detail, and listens to what you love before then taking his creative spin on the shots. We enjoyed this so much and cannot recommend him more. Well worth it and we now have photos to last a lifetime. Thank you so much Ryan! Happy New Year!!”
