With a short break from taking any pictures, I managed to catch up on all the editing from previous weddings, but then Katy and Adam decided to have their perfect day at Orchardleigh Estates newest venue, Elmhay Park and after not seeing much inspiration on the web, I thought it was best to share with you some shots from their day for others to be inspired by too (hopefully). As it was my first wedding there, I wasn’t sure what to expect but knowing how nice the grounds were at the Orchardleigh House I knew it was going to be an amazing day from past experience.
I started the day out at Katy’s parents home in Chilcompton with all her bridesmaids getting their make up and hair done, and her family there to enjoy the morning. A few hours went past this way, and then the dress was on and before we knew it, it was time for me to head off to the venue to see them both get married in the beautiful sunshine.
After capturing a long list of their friends previous weddings and a few more on my schedule next year, its always nice to go to weddings where some of the guests know who you are which is much more relaxing for everyone. Everything was perfect throughout the day, the food was delicious (thank you!), the group shots were done swiftly, the guests were enjoying the sun and the bride and groom had tied the knot and then the evening commenced! Once again, I would like to say thank you to my bride and groom for choosing me to capture their wedding for them and capture their memories throughout the day and I look forward to sharing with them their full album as soon as possible!
