“The Albus Dumbledore of the camera world. Ryan was extremely helpful as soon as we booked with him. He was more than just our photographer at the wedding, he was a great friend too, helping in any way he could. He
He made the day relaxed and run smoothly. His eye for detail and a great picture is second to none and it is amazing what he can do with a camera. The shots and emotions he captured were unbelievable. People say if you can bottle the emotion of the day then you would . With Ryan’s pictures you re live the emotions and feelings. Extremely happy with the presentation of the final product and it’s easy to see why Ryan has built up such a professional and stellar reputation for himself in the South West.”
Coombe Lodge Wedding Venue is easily one of my favourite venues and there is no surprise why when you see the photos below. It is a photographers dream as far as variety goes; from the gorgeous music room, the outdoor ceremonies, the huge gardens and everything else. It’s just a real treat to photograph weddings here and being on my doorstep too in Somerset it is becoming one of my most popular venues for couples and its no surprise why.
Char and Dexter invited all of their closest family and friends and it made for a very emotional day. There were lots of tears and laughter all the way through to the evening. The day started out at Charlottes sisters home (I snapped her wedding back in 2013 too) where Paris and Danielle were both working with the bridesmaids and making them all look glam ready for the big day and for that all important walk down the aisle. Afterwards we headed over to Somerset’s Coombe Lodge where the boys were already starting to get ready to meet and greet the guests before the ceremony. Char decided to get in her dress at the venue as she wanted the girls to see her for the first time and get that all important ‘first look’ snap that I love to capture. And it was so worth it, a real tear jerker moment especially with her daughter.
Char wore a stunning gown from Krystle Brides, some beautiful Jimmy Choo heels and flowers from Sweet Pea to finish her look. The wedding itself took place in the music room of the house, because the weather decided to stay spontaneous and keep us all on our toes with rain, sun, rain, sun and so on. Although, It did dry up later in the day for us and we managed to capture some stunning shots during the famous Coombe Lodge sunset on the top of the hill. Some of my favourite snaps from the day.
My favourite part of the day was the speeches. I hear a lot of speeches and these were some of the most emotional speeches I’ve heard and it was clearly the same for the guests as I heard quite a few crying and sniffling. If you were there, and you are reading this you know exactly which part Im referring to *cough* Dexters Speech *cough*. It was very clear how much everyone being there meant to both Char and Dexter.
Congratulations to Charlotte and Dexter again, and I wish you and your children a lifetime of happiness. Enjoy this sneaky preview and enjoy your honeymoon!
