I always find blogs difficult to write up especially after the past 12 months we have all just endured, and trying to put it all into words seems like an impossible task but here goes…
This year has been an emotional, exciting, tiring, crazy, fulfilling, and momentous ride to say the least. With 25 weddings photographed, surviving a worldwide pandemic and my wife bringing another child into this world, its been a whirlwind of emotions right up to writing this, and I want to start by thanking all of my clients new and old, and my family and friends for sticking by and supporting me. Hopefully I have done the same for you all too through this very strange time in our lives and I will continue to do so going forwards.
I have so many amazing moments from this years portfolio to share with you all over the next few months but thought with it being the end of the year, and the fact I actually got to shoot more weddings this year compared to last, a round up of some of my favourite moments would be the best way to start.
Every wedding this year has been memorable for all the right reasons. From all the sparklers tunnels, the tears caught on camera, the time spent walking hand in hand and the beautiful speeches; it’s been amazing to be back shooting for you. I was able to explore ten new venues this year as well as staying local at my favourite wedding venues too, I’ve met a million new suppliers from all over the country and to add the cherry on top, I’ve never seen the dance floors fuller after good ol’Boris putting a stop to it all until the summer weddings kicked in.
Let’s see what 2022 brings once we get past the end of this year with ‘you know what’ going on right now; Its safe to say its lined up to be an amazing year ahead, revisiting all my of my favourite venues like Priston Mill and some new ones too; I cant wait to share it with you all and see what you all have to bring to the table. Below you’ll see a real mix of moments captured throughout the year and of course you’ll find the usual portraits too. Here is my best of 2021!
